Ah, an eraser, the most important tool that humanity has created and yet the simplest one there is. An eraser represents the ability to correct our mistakes
This tale is about one such eraser; the player wakes up as an eraser in a dark corner of a room. Gary struggles to move, finally navigates around, and finds himself under an almirah. The eraser is dirty due to lying in the dust for too long. It ventures out from under the cupboard and sees many scribbles around the room. It tries to make sense of what’s happening and looks around to find many photographs and sketches vandalized.
So, the eraser looks around all confused as to what happened and it sees a painting on the floor with scribbles on it. The eraser somehow manages to roll towards the painting, then it tries to cross the drawing when it rolls on the drawing the marks or scribbles seem to lighten. Curious it tries to roll around on the drawing and slowly the scribbles start to disappear. When the picture is clear it sees a little glimpse of the past, in it, there are two people arguing. After that, the eraser starts to remember a bit of its past.
The entire room had drawings and papers that had been scribbled on, curious to find out more about its existence it goes to all the drawings. As each drawing gets restored the eraser gains new memories, it is painful as it rubs itself against the drawings it sheds its dirty outer layer synonymous with being reborn after recovering each memory. It remembers everything, that his name is Gary and the people arguing were his parents. After the argument, all of them drive to a nearby restaurant, on the way they meet with an accident and his parents save him. He wishes with all his might that he could bring them back. Cue the eraser

Somewhere far away a mysterious being drifts along the cosmos, looking after all the beings in the expanse. He suddenly hears a shrill voice crying and wishing to bring back his parents. The being is amused by the child's willingness to bring his parents back. So it decides to make an appearance.

Gary hears a faint voice saying that he can bring his parents back but as everything in the universe comes at a cost, erasing his parent's fate would mean letting go of his own life. "Life for a life," the being says. He doesn't hesitate to reply whatever it takes.

Gary is shown erasing himself from existence in order to save his parents.

The being admires his will and his selflessness and tells him that he has two choices, he can either travel the cosmos or be sent back as an eraser. Symbolic to him erasing his parent's fate.
In the end, his parents are shown happy and healthy and on the main deck lies a rather peculiar-looking eraser.
